Our Health Care department is located in two different campuses, in Turku and in Salo. The two campuses offer exchange students the opportunity to do courses in English or clinical placements in Health care organisations ( hospitals, health care centres, communities, elderly care homes etc.)  More information about courses and placements you can get from the contact person‘s mentioned below.

If you are interested to apply for an exchange period at Turku University of Applied Sciences you need to do the following procedure:

1.    You must be nominated for exchange by your University before you can apply to Turku.
2.    Your international coordinator will contact the international coordinator in Turku and inquire about courses in english or clinical placements.
3.    Fill in the electronical application, print it out and sign it with you international coordinator.

4.    Send via e-mail (to the right contact person) your CV, Motivations letter, Transcript of records
(If you want to do clinical placement, please fill in and send also the exchange student information sheet)

The application deadline is 30 October for the spring semester and 30 April for the autumn semester.

Cost of accommodation:  176-309€/month
Application deadline for accommodation:  At least six weeks before arrival.

SALO:
Off-campus, the international office will organize accommodation for the exchange students. More information at http://ixos.turkuamk.fi/sis/livinginsalo.php
Cost of accommodation:  100-300€/month

Nearest airport:
Turku Airport (connections from Helsinki, Stockholm and Copenhagen). Students coming to Salo should fly to Helsinki and take the airport bus to Salo.
