Information for exchange students – application procedures, course options and practical information before coming to Stockholm.

Exchange studies at Karolinska Institutet

If you are a nursing student at a university within the Norlys network, you are welcome to apply to Karolinska Institutet as an exchange student. Please note that you must be nominated by your home university before applying to Karolinska Institutet. The courses you can choose among are regular courses within the nursing programme (in Swedish) and clinical rotations (offered in Swedish or English).

You submit your application online at the Karolinska Institutet website. The application form must also be printed and signed by yourself and the international coordinator or contact person at your home university. Please send the following documents to Karolinska Institutet:

•    Printed and signed application form
•    Learning agreement (included in the application form)
•    Transcript
•    Photograph

The application deadline is 15 October for the spring semester and 15 April for the autumn semester.
